Welcome to Nueral. By entering or participating in any competition on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

    1. These Terms & Conditions ("General Terms") apply to every prize competition and prize draw ("Competition") that Nueral ("we," "us," "our") promotes and administers on our website.

    2. Each Competition may also have its own specific terms and conditions ("Specific Terms"). These Specific Terms may be detailed on the competition page or communicated through other means associated with the Competition.

    3. You should read these General Terms together with any applicable Specific Terms. If any provision of the Specific Terms conflicts with these General Terms, the Specific Terms will prevail.

    4. We may change these General Terms at any time, and any changes will be posted on this page and become effective upon posting. It is your responsibility to review these Terms & Conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.

    5. By entering any Competition, you accept that you will be legally bound by these General Terms and any applicable Specific Terms. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you should not participate in the Competition.

  3. Eligibility

    1. Competitions are open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

    2. Employees of Nueral, their immediate family members, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Competition are not eligible to enter.

    3. Additional eligibility requirements may apply to specific Competitions, such as valid passports, visas, driving licences, or good physical health. These requirements will be detailed in the applicable Specific Terms.

    4. Whether any eligibility requirement has or has not been met is at our sole discretion, and we may require evidence or confirmation from entrants before awarding prizes.

  4. Entry Methods

    1. Entry into any Competition is available through purchasing a ticket on our website or via free entry methods as specified in these Terms or the Specific Terms.

    2. All Competitions will include a free route of entry as detailed in Section 5.

    3. The maximum number of entries permitted per person for each Competition will be specified on the competition page. Entry limits may vary based on the prize value and competition type.

    4. Entries must be submitted within the entry period specified in the Specific Terms. Entries received outside this period will not be valid. All times referenced are UK time (GMT/BST) unless otherwise specified.

    5. We reserve the right to reject any entries that are incomplete, incomprehensible, damaged, or otherwise deficient. Entries that do not comply with these Terms, contain unlawful content, or are deemed harmful will be void.

    6. Automated entries, bulk entries, or entries submitted by third parties are not permitted and will be disqualified.

    7. Entrants may not participate as part of a syndicate or on behalf of any other person, group, or company unless specifically permitted in the Specific Terms.

  5. Free Entry Route

    1. All Competitions will include a free entry route, which may include postal entry or other methods as specified in the Specific Terms.

    2. Free entries have an equal chance of winning as paid entries.

    3. No purchase is necessary to enter or win via the free entry route.

    4. Details of the free entry method(s) will be clearly displayed on the competition page and may include postal entry (Section 6) or other methods.

    5. Entries that do not comply with the instructions for the free entry route will be disqualified.

      Postal entry cards must be sent here when postal entry is offered.

    2. Eligibility

      Eligibility requirements are as stated in Section 3. Postal entry availability will be specified in individual competition details.

    3. How to Enter

      To enter a competition via the postal route (where offered), send a postcard with the following clearly written information:

      • Full name

      • Complete postal address (no PO Box addresses)

      • Email address

      • Telephone number (optional)

      • Specific competition name you wish to enter

      • Your answer to the skill-based element as specified on the competition page

      Each postcard must be posted individually with appropriate postage paid. Multiple entries in one envelope will be counted as a single entry.

    4. Entry Limitations

      Only one entry is permitted per postcard. Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted and will automatically be disqualified.

    5. Deadline for Entries

      Entries must be received by Nueral before all competition tickets are allocated or by the closing date and time as specified on the competition details page. Entries received after this date will not be considered.

      Proof of postage is not proof of receipt, and Nueral is not responsible for undelivered postcards.

    6. Processing of Entries

      All valid postal entries will be entered into the competition database before the draw deadline. Each valid entry will receive a confirmation email with an allocated ticket number for the draw.

    7. General

      Postal entries are treated with the same chance of winning as paid entries. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entering via the postal route does not guarantee a win or confer any additional benefits.

    8. Account Requirement

      Entrants must have an account on Nueral.com with matching details to have a free entry processed.

  7. Prize Details

    1. Prizes are as described on the competition page and are subject to availability.

    2. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

    3. All prize substitutions will be communicated to entrants prior to the prize draw. If a substitution occurs, a full refund will be offered to any entrant who requests it before the prize draw takes place.

    4. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered unless specified in the Specific Terms.

    5. Any tax or other charges payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the winner.

    6. Third-party suppliers of prizes may also stipulate their own terms and conditions, which will apply to the prize winner.

  8. Winner Selection & Skill-Based Activities

    1. Competition winners will be selected based on the completion of skill-based activities which involve genuine skill, knowledge, and judgment. The specific skill-based element for each competition will be detailed on the competition page.

    2. The skill-based activity may include but is not limited to geographic location guessing games, trivia questions, puzzles, or other games of skill as specified for each competition.

    3. The winner selection criteria will be clearly stated on each competition page. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker method will be specified in the Specific Terms.

    4. All game data including entries, answers, and timestamps are recorded in our system.

    5. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner.

  9. Notification of Winners

    1. Winners will be notified via email within 28 days of the closing date of the Competition. We may also attempt to contact winners by telephone or in writing.

    2. Winner selection may be conducted via live stream where specified. Details of any live draws will be announced on the competition page.

    3. It is the responsibility of entrants to ensure their contact details are accurate and up to date. We will not be liable for any inability to contact a winner due to incorrect contact details.

    4. Winners must respond within the specified time frame in the notification email to claim their prize. If we are unable to contact a winner or the winner does not claim their prize within 14 days, the winner forfeits their right to the prize.

    5. We will make reasonable efforts to contact winners including:

      • Email to the registered email address

      • Follow-up emails if no response within 7 days

      • Telephone contact where provided

      • Written notification to the registered address as a last resort

    6. We may announce winners' names and general locations (e.g., county or city) on our website or through other media channels. By entering the Competition, you consent to such announcements.

  10. Use of Personal Information

    1. By entering a Competition, you consent to the use of your personal information for the purposes of administering the Competition and awarding prizes.

    2. Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with applicable data protection laws.

    3. If you are required to submit a third party's personal information, you must ensure that the person has given their consent for you to provide us with their details.

    4. We may use your name, likeness, and any submitted content for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

  11. Intellectual Property

    1. By entering a Competition, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use any content you submit for promotional purposes.

    2. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant the above licence and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

    3. All content on the Nueral website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is our property or that of our content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

    4. You may not use any content from this site without our express written consent.

  12. Limitation of Liability

    1. We will not be liable for:

      • Any incorrect or inaccurate information provided in connection with a Competition

      • Technical failures or unavailability of our website or entry mechanisms

      • Unauthorised intervention in any part of the entry process or the Competition

      • Any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, or alteration of entries

    2. We will not be liable for any damages, loss, or injury suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize.

    3. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

  13. Disqualification

    1. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if we have reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these Terms & Conditions.

    2. Entries that are incomplete, indecipherable, illegible, or otherwise not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions will be disqualified.

    3. Any entrant deemed to be rude or offensive to our staff or other entrants on social media, telephone, electronic communications, post, or in person will be disqualified from entry and may be banned from future Competitions.

    4. We may disqualify entries that:

      • Use multiple accounts or false identities

      • Attempt to manipulate or circumvent the competition rules

      • Engage in fraudulent activity

      • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

  14. Amendments and Termination

    1. We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate a Competition at any time without prior notice if circumstances arise outside of our control.

    2. We will not be liable to any entrant or prize winner for any cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension of a Competition.

  15. Governing Law

    1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

    2. Any disputes relating to these Terms & Conditions or the Competitions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  17. Final Decision

    1. All decisions made by us regarding any aspect of the Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

    2. Tiebreakers, disputes, conflicts, questions, or concerns will be managed by us and, if required by law, by an independent adjudicator.

  18. Record Keeping

    1. We maintain comprehensive records of all Competitions including:

      • All entries (paid and free)

      • Skill-based game results and winner selection data

      • Winner notification and prize delivery records

      • All versions of Terms & Conditions and marketing materials

      • Contracts or receipts of prizes

    2. Records are retained for a minimum of 6 years and are available for regulatory inspection if required.

  19. Regulatory Compliance

    1. All Competitions are operated in compliance with:

      • The Gambling Act 2005

      • The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008

      • Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines

      • CAP Code requirements

      • Applicable data protection laws

    2. Our Competitions are structured as lawful prize competitions, requiring genuine skill, knowledge or judgment.

    3. Our free entry route complies with all legal requirements, providing equal chances of winning without requiring any purchase.

    4. All marketing materials clearly state "No purchase necessary" and include links to these Terms & Conditions. This statement is required by law even though tickets can be purchased, as a free entry route is always available with equal chances of winning.

  20. Financial Protection

    1. All competition entry fees are held securely in a segregated client account until the prize has been awarded and delivered to the winner.

    2. In the unlikely event that Nueral ceases trading before a competition concludes, all entry fees will be refunded to participants.

  21. Acceptance

    By entering or participating in a Competition on Nueral, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
